For families, couples and other tourists searching for a place to stay in Bali that is not your average visitor resort then Seminyak is the area to search for a hotel. Bali flights always land at Ngurah International airport and it's a quick twenty minute drive to Seminyak from there. There are numerous sorts of accommodation available to you when staying in Seminyak, not only hotels but traditionally built villas. The rates for places in Seminyak that you're going to find here won't include inexpensive, budget hotels The services and quality are of a phenomenally high standard and the price lists reflect that. All Seminyak hotels will give you a very private service, and will offer you only the best that Bali accommodation has to offer . If you travel north from Kuta you will find Seminyak which is a more refined area of Kuta. Seminyak is a more sophisticated vacation destination in Bali, and is aimed at the couple and family holiday makers. You will find this district of Kuta much quieter and laid back. There are no groups of young folk hanging around drinking and making a nuisance of themselves. That said staying in one of the Seminyak hotels is not dull, there is plenty of entertainment on offer, but is more refined and intimate. Accommodation is often middle to top end and although it's a lot more pricey the bargain hotels of South Kuta, the rates are extremely reasonable for the service and quality that you receive as a holiday maker. Bali has made a wonderful tourism industry over time and realizes that there are numerous different standards that various visitors are on the lookout for. The island is dotted with accommodation for all budgets, and the different areas have been separated to ensure that each tourist's particular need is catered for. Booking a place to in one of the Seminyak hotels is fairly easy as most of the resorts and hotels in the area have their own web site that you can book through. Most visitors will come to Bali and stay through the dry season, April to September. However there are tons of folks that still come during the stormy season October to March as the yearly temperature is a constant 30C. Almost all of the resorts in Seminyak are exclusive and have different views and facilities on offer, if this is your first visit any hotel or villa will offer you more than you would expect. Always book ahead to be certain the place you wish to stay at has space for you and you don't end up staying in a hotel not to your liking. Watch out for the monkeys, they're all over Bali and will snatch anything that's hanging lose and easy to snatch including your glasses. If they do happen to snatch something ensure that they aren't sitting next to a cliff and throw down some food. The monkeys will drop your item and go after the food. Even though most tourists are warned too many don't listen and end up losing things, sometimes even expensive jewellery.
